With its powerful ceramic magnets and reduced-aperture coils, the EMG 81 delivers an intense tone with powerful highs and smooth sustain. Traditionally used in the bridge position, this humbucker will make your leads stand out, even through the densest mixes. Also suitable for both the bridge and neck positions, its tone is cutting.

We recommend pairing it with the 85 or 60 pickup for an ultra-versatile setup.
