Its imposing asymmetrical single-cutaway body and sculpted “German Carve” top make a strong visual statement, while carefully selected materials form the heart of its sonic signature.

At the core of the Krona’s sonic identity are two new Hagstrom pickups designed specifically for this model: the Agent-X at the neck offers broad articulation and exceptional clarity, while the Penetrator at the bridge delivers an aggressive, cutting, powerful tone. Both feature AlNiCo 5 magnets. Each tone control allows one coil of the pickup to be deactivated, providing quick access to single-coil tones when greater subtlety or brightness is desired.

The 25.5-inch scale length enhances articulation and responsiveness, while the solid machined brass fixed bridge and string-through-body construction provide generous sustain and exceptional tonal depth. Stainless steel frets ensure very long life, far exceeding that of traditional nickel frets, as well as fast, smooth playability with enhanced tonal precision.

Hagstrom locking tuners with a 19:1 ratio complete the hardware. They ensure excellent tuning stability and allow strings to be changed quickly, both onstage and in the studio.
