Overview:
For several years now, the ukulele has been in fashion, with sales exploding in France and the United States. LR Baggs eventually gave in to the endless requests from musicians wanting to amplify their instrument effectively.

The result is the FIVE.O, a small, lightweight pickup derived from the brand’s Element pickup. It consists of an undersaddle pickup, a tube preamp powered by a coin cell battery (300 hours of battery life!), and a remote volume control mounted on the soundhole.

The entire system weighs less than a 9-volt battery and was specifically designed to suit the ukulele’s particular range and tonal character.

Installation:
- The piezo pickup is installed under the saddle
- The jack preamp is inserted into the hole where the original strap button was located.
