The iBeam Active System combines the iBeam microphone with a discreet Class A preamp built into the jack, delivering the highest sound fidelity.

The iBeam pickup at the heart of the system is revolutionary. Easy to install, it attaches inside the guitar body, beneath the bridge. Its internal positioning allows it to work with the vibrations of the soundboard and strings to accurately capture finger attack. In addition, it weighs just 150 grams, so it does not alter the guitar’s natural acoustics.
In addition to being accurate, the iBeam is resistant to feedback and, above all, produces an ultra-realistic amplified sound. It is a far cry from the sound of piezo pickups. The iBeam is also perfect for live recording or home studio use. The various tests carried out have proven that the fidelity of this system makes it one of the best microphones on the market.
The preamp is also ultra-quiet. It amplifies every nuance of the sound. Easy to use, this system includes a volume control and a passive auxiliary channel for adding a second microphone.
