Back in the day, it was fairly popular to send your bass signal to a bass amp and a guitar amp at the same time. This was called bi-amping. It allowed musicians to achieve deep, clear lows while amplifying the mids and highs separately, adding distortion or crunch to them with total control.
This kind of setup can produce huge tones, but requires equally substantial equipment.
The Bass Butler is a van full of gear in a single pedal. It splits the input signal into two parallel analog chains, just as you would with a bi-amp setup. The difference is that there is no amplifier to carry around.

Bass channel: The bass channel, which is always active, features simple but effective controls: compression, bass, treble, and volume. It includes an optical compression circuit, a boost/cut control, and a DI output with speaker cabinet simulation.

Guitar channel: Whether you need chaos, musicality, or a little mischief, the guitar channel will not disappoint. Five familiar controls and four gain levels can be activated with a simple press of the footswitch, ranging from clean vintage tones to modern wall-breaking sounds. Combined with its DI output with speaker cabinet simulation and an expression pedal for additional gain control, the Bass Butler can satisfy even the most demanding musicians.
