The SE Hollowbody II Piezo combines the power and stability of a solid-body electric guitar with the captivating resonance of a hollow-body instrument. The 58/15 LT 'S' pickups deliver clarity and balance, providing a powerful and musical sound on a hollow-body platform. Equipped with an LR Baggs/PRS piezo system, the SE Hollowbody II Piezo allows musicians to offer both acoustic and electric tones with a single instrument. The guitar is designed with two distinct volume controls (magnetic and piezo) and two output jacks (Mix/Piezo and magnetic). Musicians can plug into the Mix/Piezo output and use the individual volume controls to blend the 58/15 LT 'S' pickups with the acoustic sounds of the piezo. It is also possible to use the output jacks separately, with the magnetic pickups plugged into an amp and the piezo connected to an acoustic amp or a DI into the mixing console. When using the magnetic output in isolation, the piezo battery is completely bypassed, which provides security (in this scenario, the magnetic pickups continue to function even if the piezo battery is dead).
