PRS Narrowfield DD (Deep Dish) 'S' pickups are made with taller bobbins to accommodate more wire and additional metal parts between the magnets, for a powerful and precise sound. Like the US model, the "S" variant of these pickups offers defined lows and the biting, 'twangy' sound expected from this instrument - all in a hum-cancelling humbucker, allowing for high gain levels. Equipped with a volume control, a tone control, and a 3-way pickup selector, the SE NF 53 allows musicians to easily adjust their sound. Finally, the choice of a steel bridge with brass saddles further enhances the PRS SE NF 53's tone and resonance.
