Specifically designed for wind instruments, the Beta98H/C incorporates a cardioid capsule to reduce proximity effect. It is mounted on a 12cm gooseneck via a suspension system, reducing mechanical noise. It includes a spring-loaded clamp with rubber protection for quick setup. It uses a preamplifier integrated into a 3m cable. It comes with a windscreen.
