Meinl Sonic Energy Wind gongs are handcrafted in the People's Republic of China from a bronze alloy. These gongs are also called "Feng" (wind) or "Sun gong" (sun gong). Their flat surface produces an extremely rich sound with long sustains. With energetic strikes, these gongs emit beautiful high-pitched sounds and bright harmonics over a very deep and low fundamental tone. The Wind gong series ranges from 20" (50cm) to 40" (101cm). Each gong comes with a matching mallet.
