ESP and Traveler Guitar have teamed up to offer all fans of heavy tones a travel guitar based on the EC series.
The ALH-200B humbuckers developed by ESP deliver powerful sound and pronounced tonal character. The LTD EC-1 features a carved mahogany arch-top body, locking tuners, gold hardware, a beveled neck for easy access to the highest notes, an adjustable tune-o-matic bridge, six-ply binding, and position markers in the purest LTD tradition.
The proprietary In-Body Tuning System? uses standard tuners and relocates them into the instrument's body, eliminating the need for a headstock.
The result is an instrument with a traditional scale length that is 24% shorter and 29% lighter.
The instrument is equipped with the Traveler Guitar V2 headphone amplifier, allowing you to shred at full volume without disturbing those around you. It also features a control knob on the top for cycling through several effects (Clean/Boost/Overdrive/Distortion).
It can also be used with a traditional amplifier, while the headphone amplifier allows you to connect an MP3 player or another audio source to play along.
